Dr Susan Rasmussen

I am an active member of the Suicidal Behaviour Research Group which is run by Dr Rory O'Connor, and I am currently involved in a number of suicide-related projects within the group. I completed my PhD on suicidal behaviour in 2005 (Title: Understanding psychological distress and suicidality: The predictive utility of perfectionism and autobiographical memory), and continue to be interested in researching the risk and protective factors associated with suicidal behaviour.

I am also currently working on a MRC funded project with Dr Diane Dixon, which involves conducting a systematic review of the literature on decision-making in total joint replacement (3 years part-time).
